TEHRAN – A Persian version of Swedish novelist and journalist Lena Andersson’s “Willful Disregard: A Novel about Love” has recently been released in Iran by Markaz Publications. 

The novel rendered into Persian by Saeid Moqqadam centers on Ester Nilsson who is a sensible person in a sensible relationship until the day she is asked to give a lecture on famous artist Hugo Rask.

In 2013, the novel won the August Prize, an annual honor established by the Swedish Publishers’ Association in 1989.
